Post-graduate training in Scotland and London. Senior Clinical Fellow for one year after Senior Registrar rotation at St Mary's Regional Vascular Unit. Trained under Professor Vaughan Ruckley in Edinburgh. A long term interest in venous disease. Supervised trainee surgeons through to MDs concerned with venous diseases and their treatment. Published numerous papers on venous diseases. Member of the UK Venous Forum. Founding Member of the European Venous Forum. Member of the American Venous Forum. Large venous practice in the NHS and private sector. Extensive experience in duplex ultrasonography and ultrassound-guided foam sclerotherapy
