Shirley Jia, PhD, MBChB
Systematic reviewer, Health Services Research Unit, University of Aberdeen. On completion of medical degree in China in 2002, Shirley underwent MSc training in public health and subsequent PhD training in human nutrition in the University of Aberdeen. She jointed the Health Services Research unit in the University of Aberdeen in 2006 and have been conducting systematic reviewers commissioned by the interventional procedures programme of NICE. One of the reviews she conducted was on the safety and efficacy of foam sclerotherapy for venous disease of the lower limbs.
