I had treatment for thread veins three weeks ago; my veins are really red and angry looking is this normal? They seem to look worse than before
I am sorry to hear about this problem.
To get a good outcome, the underlying blue veins or ‘reticular veins’ need to be injected as well.
Another possibility is that a ‘real’ varicose vein is present nearby or beneath the thread veins. This will need to be treated to get a good outcome from treatment.
I usually use ultrasound imaging to analyse the problem and to improve the outcome in such case.
